CS Academy International, Tiruppur launches the Cambridge Programme for students from Pre-Kg to Grade III starting in the 2026 academic year, with plans to gradually expand to higher grades in the coming years.

The programme is designed to uphold high academic standards while encouraging students to think critically and learn independently. For Grades I to VIII, our unique iStream Programme blends the strengths of traditional Indian education with the best practices of international curricula, ensuring excellent learning outcomes. After completing the iStream programme, students have the flexibility to transition into either the CBSE or IGCSE stream from grade IX.

Cambridge IGCSE programme in Grades IX and X represents the gold standard in international education. It builds on the strong foundations, offering students a rigorous and balanced curriculum that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and global awareness.

Recognised worldwide, the IGCSE provides an excellent pathway to advanced international qualifications such as Cambridge AS and A Levels, empowering learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in universities and beyond.

At CS Academy, our iStream programme nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Learning is interdisciplinary, experiential, joyful and hands-on. This holistic blend brings meaning and joy to the classroom, allowing children to explore ideas, express themselves freely, and think critically.

Through the Cambridge framework, children develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry, while also growing as resourceful, mindful, and confident learners — ready to take on the world with creativity, compassion, and curiosity.

Academic Director’s Note

There is a complete churn happening in the education sector the last few years and it continues. With COVID we saw a new normal, after which things haven’t bounced back completely for children. The gaps we noticed after COVID-19 were not just in skills but also in attitude. Children are no longer worried about marks but parents are. Children are demotivated with the traditional classrooms and are itching to do things, use their hands, technology and even their imagination full steam. Even before we have come round to analysing, there is an AI revolution. It seems technology is moving faster than humans can. We are struggling to keep up. By the time we learn how to use it there is further development. Under such situations there is a lot of confusion surrounding the goal towards which we should educate our children.

For sure the 21st century skills are needed, which are the 6 Cs; critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, computer skills and curiosity. These are highlighted by NEP2020. These are best fostered by engaging children in projects and real life exposure. That should reduce the cognitive load on children. Part of the load is because they study from textbooks alone and that becomes content they do not comprehend. All the boards have woken up to it and they have started training teachers in what they call experiential learning.

On their part the schools that are aware have started tying up with agencies or have started providing for this kind of learning in their infrastructure. This is how paradigm shifts happen and we are currently witnessing it unraveling across nations. This comes with its own challenge. If learners are going to be engaged in both projects and classrooms, they need to become more independent where they are in a position to exercise their free will and yet stay within the boundaries that integrity demands.

Therefore, we will be better off dealing with correct attitude training, because repeated and continued attitude display will be tantamount to value systems. All staff and parents need this awareness while dealing with children. The presence of CTEx; Centre for Teaching Excellence, in CS Academy focuses on the areas where there are gaps. Our efforts are in several areas of training, including AI and we are currently working on modules that will equip teachers to deal with learners with varied attitudes. We hope to see tangible results in a couple of years. The best evidence is when we see it in learners. In this effort the cooperation of parents is vital. They need to be connected at all points of time with the development of their children. I am very happy to note that a lot of interest has been raised in all the key areas of schooling. May it continue!
