During your time at school, you are not only acquiring knowledge but also cultivating essential skills that will benefit you throughout your lives. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are among the vital skills that will enable you to overcome challenges and reach your full potential. By focusing on developing these skills, you will be well-prepared to excel in all aspects of life.
As you continue to grow and learn, remember that every step you take, no matter how small, brings you closer to your dreams. Do not hesitate to explore new interests, pose questions, and seek guidance when needed. Your teachers, mentors, and peers are all committed to supporting you on this journey. June – Parent Orientation
A Parent Orientation Programme was conducted for Grades 9 to 12. The session was facilitated by Dr. Vikram Ramakrishnan (Director), Mr. Amit Kumar (Principal), Mr. Sathish Kumar (Academic Coordinator), and Ms. Gunasundari (Career Counselor). Parents were guided through academic pathways, career prospects, and the school’s support systems, ensuring a strong partnership in helping students plan their future.
June – Career Refresher & Unifrog Launch
In June, Ms. Gunasundari led a Career Refresher session for Grade 12 students, revisiting key aspects of career planning. A Stream-Specific Session for Grade 11 highlighted career options, top universities, and entrance exams. Both sessions introduced Unifrog, a platform for exploring careers and universities. Grades 8–11 also attended dedicated Unifrog launch sessions, supporting early career exploration and informed decision-making.
June – Writing an Effective LOR
A virtual session on “Writing an Effective LOR” was conducted by Ms. Shanthi Mohan from USIEF for teachers. The session focused on best practices for crafting impactful Letters of Recommendation for university applications.
Teachers gained clarity on what different universities look for and how to support students through well-structured and effective recommendation letters.
July – Empower Programme
For Grade 9, the Empower Programme was launched to mentor motivated students in academics, extracurriculars, leadership, and community initiatives. The initiative supports goal-setting and achievement, helping students build strong profiles for top universities in India and abroad.
July – UCAS Personal Statement Guidance
An exclusive guidance session on UCAS Personal Statements was delivered virtually by University College London (UCL). The session offered valuable insights into the recent changes in the UCAS personal statement format and guided students on how to prepare effectively for UK university admissions.
Students gained clarity on structuring their statements and understanding what admissions officers look for, making it a highly practical and relevant session.
