SCHOOL LEADERSHIP UPDATE
My sincere appreciation to the team members and contributors who have brought out this edition of the newsletter with dedication and clarity.
At the outset, I would like to address our students.
True education begins when we move beyond memorisation and begin engaging with ideas. Thinking well is not automatic; it is a discipline. It requires patience to examine situations, the courage to question what appears obvious, and the humility to recognise that learning is a lifelong journey.
The difference between surface learning and deep understanding lies in the questions we ask. A student who asks, “What is the answer?”learns for the moment. A student who asks, “Why is this the answer?” and “What happens if this changes?” learns for life. The world belongs to those who question with purpose.
Asking the right questions sharpens the mind. It helps you analyse, compare, connect, and evaluate. It transforms confusion into clarity. Responsible questioning is the pursuit of understanding and truth.
Let curiosity become your strength. Before accepting information, pause and reflect. Before forming an opinion, examine the evidence. Before concluding, explore alternatives. Thoughtful questioning builds confidence, independence, and wisdom.
As you read or listen, ask yourself: What does this teach me? What can I learn from it? How can I improve?
When you train your mind to think deeply and question wisely, the right answers will follow naturally.
May you grow into learners who seek not merely marks, but meaning.
